The sculpture, located on the Elbe Lateral Canal in Bad Bevensen, was created by the artist Jürgen Friede. It has no official title ("o.T." stands for "untitled") and was made of Corten steel in 1992. With its impressive dimensions of 800 × 360 × 8 cm, it makes a true statement in the landscape. The sculpture's location directly on the waterfront perfectly emphasizes its vertical, almost nautical form. The horizontal slits in the steel allow light and nature to shine through – an exciting interplay between industrial hardness and the organic environment. Corten steel is known for its rust-red patina, which forms over time and makes the sculpture weatherproof. This surface gives the work a rough, earthy aesthetic that blends beautifully with its surroundings while also being eye-catching.

Ratsapotheke At the corner of Lüneburger Straße / Krummer Arm, at the end of the pedestrian zone, stands perhaps the most beautiful house in Bad Bevensen: the Ratsapotheke. It was built by a doctor in 1798 and became the town's first pharmacy in 1817. In 1984, the house was renovated and the half-timbered facade was turned into a gem in the old town. The building still houses a pharmacy today. Also special are several vines over a hundred years old that climb up the facade.
