A so-called steel lattice mast, which, due to its height, requires additional cables to support it. The tower still serves its purpose by broadcasting radio (DAB) and providing coverage for the Monik radio networks. A very nice landmark.

At the small harbor in Tetenbüll, a small stairway leads directly into the North Sea for swimming. The green beach in Tetenbüllspieker invites you to linger and relax. The port dries up at low tide. Some water stays in the middle. The boats are moored alongside floating jetties or at the quay. Keel boats sink in the soft mud. There are about 15 berths. From the Heverstrom it goes almost halfway in the direction of Husum between the green buoys 47 and 49 in the Priel to the harbour. In the tidal creek, only about 50cm of water remains at the shallowest point at low tide.

The Spieskommer café and restaurant is located directly in front of the Tetenbüllspieker harbor. Here you can get culinary delights ranging from crab soup to baked potatoes with turkey strips, fresh North Sea plaice and rum steak to ice cream and apple strudel or red berry compote. Very friendly staff, we spent a very nice evening here.

A sluice is a closable culvert in a dyke. Depending on the tide, closing is normally done by higher pressure with higher water levels on the sea side, while opening is done by higher pressure from the inland with lower water levels on the sea side. A sluice is therefore a valve for passive drainage of the interior located behind the dyke, especially as part of the drainage system of marsh areas.
