The name "Highlight" is incorrect. This is where the rainwater collector from the Hegermühle residential area flows into the Herrensee, and the lake doesn't always carry water, depending on the weather. The Annafließ stream (when it does carry water) flows into the Herrensee on the northeast side. And here, the comments regarding the water level in the Annafließ are indeed (unfortunately) accurate.

Unfortunately, the church already has some obvious cracks.

The listed village church of Garzau was built in the 13th century - like most churches in the region - from fieldstone. After being destroyed in the Thirty Years' War, it was rebuilt in 1724 and extensively restored in the early 1990s.

The Annafließ (formerly Beckerfließ) begins in the city center and flows east of Hegermühlenstraße.

It has been dry for some time after the water level dropped significantly.

Nothing has flowed here for more than a decade because of the dramatic drop in the water level. Today it is hard to imagine that the water powered numerous mills for centuries.

The honey sales with the trust box still exist. The box is now on the street behind the church.

Massive fieldstone church, the construction of which was started by Cistercian monks before 1234. In the following centuries, numerous additions and alterations were made.
