9월 15, 2025, Badestelle Klostersee
An unusually spacious bathing area with a large park in front. Plenty of seating and tables! A very pleasant stay in any case. The lake view is fantastic. Swimming is pure pleasure here, but treading water is also very possible. The entrance looks closed from a distance, but that's deceptive. It's a public area that's frequently used for events, such as concerts in the adjacent monastery ruins.

8월 20, 2025, Klosterschänke Altfriedland
The beautiful Altfriedland Monastery Church is one of the oldest buildings in Märkische Schweiz (Markish Switzerland) and tells a story spanning almost 800 years. Originally built between 1230 and 1271 as part of a Cistercian monastery, it was rebuilt in 1734. The striking church tower was added in 1864. Today, the church serves as a Protestant village church and is an important cultural center of the town. In addition to the church itself, the ruins of the refectory and the well-preserved 15th-century cloister are worth a look. These are historical relics of monastic life in bygone times. Its location in the Märkische Schweiz nature reserve makes a visit particularly attractive: Situated directly on the Klostersee (Monastery Lake), the surrounding area offers idyllic views and invites you to take walks amidst a unique natural and cultural landscape.

Half-timbered church from 1820. The Sauer organ from 1922 is no longer there. The church was restored in 1956/57. Since 1990, a support association has been looking after the church, among other things.

The mill was built in 1880 and was in operation until the 1960s. After that it was empty and in danger of falling into disrepair. After extensive repairs the mill has been able to grind again since 1995. It is the last post mill preserved in the Oderbruch and is therefore a protected technical monument. It is also sometimes used as a registry office.

11월 23, 2023, Moserhof Neulewin
In 1755, Christoph Moser and his family were among the Austrian colonists who settled in Neubarnim after the Oderbruch was drained. Around 1860, Julius Ferdinand Moser, a descendant of the family, acquired this farm in Neulewin with arable land. The court flourished under Karl Wilhelm Moser. He ran effective farming and had the large stables built in 1900. From 1936 onwards, the Mosers were the first farmers in Neulewin to cultivate cucumbers in the field. In 1945 the barn and house were destroyed, as was the workers' house belonging to the farm. The Moser family moved to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1953. The local farm took over the property and land and in 1954 it was transferred to the LPG Type III “Oderbruch” Neulewin. In 1990, Friedrich Moser successfully filed a claim for retransfer of his property, but in 1996 the municipality acquired part of the property. In 2007, Prof. Dr. Hannelore Scholz-Lübbering and her husband Johannes Lübbering took over the remaining parts of the property from Wilhelm Moser in order to develop it as the headquarters of the Lübbering Foundation, which was founded on September 1st, 2007. The Lübbering Foundation is a non-profit foundation. A cultural teaching and meeting place is being created from the existing Moserhof buildings. The foundation will initiate and support social, cultural, sporting and tourist activities. Source: https://www.veikkos-archiv.com/index.php/Moserhof
