Very nice place to stay. However, it is the salt pond and not salt lake! The entire palace park is definitely worth a visit ;)

The castle is a listed building in Altdöbern. The castle park is beautifully laid out and the lake is great for walking or cycling around. There is an orangery with a café near the castle.
