The Struga flows through the lignite mining area north of the Nochten opencast mine and is almost completely canalized along its entire course. The Wake and Beach is a beautifully designed destination for relaxing, wakeboarding, eating, drinking, etc. The prices are reasonable and you can really unwind.

The building looks somehow unused, but the train station is actually in operation. The ODEG stops here several times a day with the RB 65 on the route between Cottbus and Zittau. The car park at the train station is also a suitable starting point for hikes.
