The Bridge Gate of Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle River is the town's landmark and stands on the southern bank of the Moselle Bridge. Designed by Bruno Möhring as a decorative bridge closure, it has housed a café-restaurant since its construction. In the 1960s, a renovation added a gallery with temporary exhibitions. The town tower, also known as the White Tower, dates back to the 14th century. It was the north-west corner tower of the town fortifications and has been preserved in its entirety to this day.

Trains stop a few hundred meters before, though. The tourist information is now located here. Very friendly staff are happy to help. You can also buy a few nice souvenirs...
