Behind the fire station, where there are enough hiking parking, is the old oak grove. Here is also the original horn tree, on which the young pilgrims have to wring their horns. The trees are estimated to be over 300 to 500 years old

On this tree, the first pilgrims must repel the horns and under the control of an Altpilger. Those affected must walk around the tree, rubbing their foreheads against the bark. The Altpilger makes sure that this does not happen too timid!
