The Brine Alley: Bad Dürrheim's white gold. The first salt dome was discovered in 1822, and today, remnants of the prehistoric sea still lie at a depth of 240–320 meters. 27% of salt is and was extracted from the salt domes. Along the Brine Alley, there are three works of art that were erected for the spa park on the occasion of the 1994 Regional Salt Festival. They commemorate the salt spring, the salt gate, and the salt pillar.

Along the Stifterweg (Founder's Trail), there are numerous benches for a rest. This one, located in the middle of Wittmanstal, was donated by Dr. Eike and Ingrid Buchmann. A wonderful place in the forest to linger.
