Elkofen Castle, also known as Elkofen Castle, Unterelkofen, Ölkofen, is one of the best preserved castles in Upper Bavaria and is located in the town of Unterelkofen. The castle is still inhabited today by the Rechberg-Rothenlöwen family, who owned it between 1664 and 1732 and acquired it again in 1871. It is a wooden building owned by the town of Grafing, built according to old plans by the local carpentry company Fritz, and furnished with figures donated by Grafing citizens.
