The Victoria Temple is a scenic highlight and an integral part of the local hiking trails in the Taunus Nature Park. The temple is located near Victoria Park and the Altkönig hill in Kronberg im Taunus and offers a good view, including of Kronberg Castle.

The 21.66-hectare nature reserve was declared a protected area in 1986. The reserve consists of two sub-areas, encompassing the districts "In der unteren Hühnerburg," "In der Mittlere Hühnerburg," and "In der obere Hühnerburg." The area encompasses extensively used meadows with spring-fed marshes. It is home to several endangered plant species and communities and is a habitat for rare insect, bird, and mammal species.
