A detour to the so-called “flash tubes” is worth it. However, you are right on a bend in the road. There is only a little space to look at these tubes directly below the castle tower. These lightning tubes originally got their name because it was believed that these formations were created by lightning strikes. But there were earth movements.

One of the active mills on the Eckbach mill hiking trail. The mill appears well maintained and has an active well in front of the house.
