Buchenbach Castle, also known as Buchenbach Castle, Upper Castle and Stone House, is a hilltop castle at 308 m above sea level above the village of Buchenbach in the municipality of Mulfingen in the Hohenlohe district in Baden-Württemberg. The castle stands on a blunt and only slightly flattened eastern ledge of the lower slope in the transition from the Buchenbach ravine to the Jagst valley. Source Wikipedia

Heimhausen is a district of Mulfingen, which is particularly known for the Jagstmühle. For us, the village was the base for a lovely hike.

The actual restaurant does not open until 5 p.m., another locarion in the form of a barn opens for guests at 12 p.m. The food is highly recommended, the ambience is great, the prices are high. Easy to miss, the Kocher/Jagst-Weg does not lead over the bridge to the Jagstmühle but directly past it
