Nice rest area with a great view.

If a grandpa hasn't already driven there in the car and occupied the tables, you have a nice place to rest after coming out of the forest.

An interesting break spot especially for children.

Parking, hiking, taking a break - everything is possible at the “Gesonne” rest area, no matter in which order. We enjoyed a nice rest here with a view in the sun.

I particularly liked the magnificent water lilies, whose lush green contrasts with the black water of the pond. I hope to see them in bloom one day.

Originally, trout were supposed to be bred in this pond, but the water was too acidic. With a little luck you can watch kingfishers here.

Nice resting place to watch the sunset.

The Niederaspher Church is the landmark of our village. It is the oldest building in our place. The steeple was built in the 13th century and the oldest parts of the church in the 15th century. The church is an art-historical sacral building with outstanding unique elements. The Niederaspher parish church is one of the two-aisled hall churches that are rare in Hesse. In front of the church on the left at the entrance there is an old Norway maple (Acer platanoides) which is marked as a natural monument.
