The Alexanderdorf Monastery - Benedictine Convent of St. Gertrude is a women's monastery located in the Alexanderdorf district of the municipality of Am Mellensee in the Teltow-Fläming district. The only post-Reformation Benedictine monastery in Brandenburg was built in 1934 in a former manor house and elevated to an abbey in 1984. Around 30 Benedictine nuns live in the abbey. Two guest houses with 22 rooms are available to visitors and families seeking relaxation.

In addition to the one in the north, there is also a beautiful viewing point on the west side of the 4th underground building with a bench and a beautiful view of the small lake.

Near the north-running path along the edge of the escarpment is this beautiful vantage point with a view of the 3rd underground mine and excellent views.

Nice to hike but also a great tour by bike.

Off into the cooling water - even with a parking space within spitting distance

Very picturesque riverside paths, you can walk around most of it. Nice rest areas, fishing and bathing spots
