The village church in Selchow was built of fieldstone in the 13th century. It stands in the center of the village on a small hill. The church is surrounded by a wall of unhewn fieldstone. The church's style is Late Romantic. The nave was probably built first, the tower followed later. Around 1700, a patron's box with a crypt was added. The altar is two-story and was created by the sculptor Detlev Matzmann in 1710. The wooden crucifix on the south wall dates from the 15th century. The gallery houses a Schuke organ from 1951. The two-story master's box is particularly noteworthy.
