Very nice hut with a great host. Regional delicacies and a little homemade schnapps are a given. One of the first huts to open (even in the low season).

The bench is located between the Naturfreunde Hut and Meckis Pannorama Hut. It took us three attempts before the bench was besieged by other hikers 😁, but the reward is a great view and relaxation!

The only hut that was open in the off-season! Very friendly owners with great food. You especially have to try the homemade cakes!!!! We were there several times and really enjoyed our time!

Meckis is a seasonally open hut with very good food, great panoramic views and super friendly service! It is also one of the few huts that opens the season early.

We were at Zettersfeld in June, still off-season. For those who like peace and quiet and can live with the fact that cable cars and most huts are still closed, this is the perfect time! Pure relaxation while hiking, with Mediterranean moments in Lienz!
