I wasn't sure which I liked better here: the church, or the historically impressive rectory next to the church. In the end, I settled on "both".

I walked past here today. An impressive historic building for a rectory. Almost as big as the church right next to it...

Nice idea. This isn't a real "summit", but the summit cross is all the more surprising. And it's not even that small. Nice view of course and a bench to rest on.

Next to the cross there is also a bench and a beautiful view to discover.

The area on the Lafnitz was founded in the Middle Neolithic, in the 5th millennium BC. Settled. The prehistoric settlement horizon is covered by thick alluvial layers, so that so far only a few finds have been made. In 1992, pottery shards from the late Lengyel culture (approx. 4000 BC) were recovered below the base of a Roman burial mound in the Oberlafnitzwiesen. Finds from the Bronze Age and Iron Age have been made in Wolfau. The Ringkogel near Hartberg was even fortified in the Iron Age.
