Here you'll find a lovely little fish pond. Unfortunately, it's privately owned and not open to the public, but it's always good for a nice photo :)

Here, a little below the pilgrimage church, by the road, you have the opportunity to take a break with a fantastic view.

It's beautiful up here. Over the past few years, the castle courtyard has been continuously improved and adapted. In summer, events of the Güssing Cultural Summer take place here on a specially installed open-air stage. With Stipsits, Seidl, Vitasek, and others performing. Fantastic! :)

There are several of these (castle gates). Or rather, passageways. But anyway – they're essential. And they help with the panting climb: Now I'm already at the first one... the second... the third... :)

For me, it's simply part of Güssing Castle. But it's one that absolutely belongs there :)

At the first castle gate, the world is still relatively alright... after that, the path climbs really nicely and your calves will be happy ;) But anyway - the view at the top is definitely worth it.

The best view in the district and always worth a visit. In summer, you can also experience live events on a specially installed stage in the castle courtyard as part of the Güssing Summer of Culture. But the well-preserved castle is worth seeing even at other times. And the view... absolutely stunning.
