On the west bank of the fishpond, right next to the bridge over the Strem river, you'll find this rest area. Until the floods, there were benches and a table here. On my last few visits, only the table was left. I hope the local council will put it back in place when the weather warms up. It's a lovely spot with a view of the pond.

In recent years, visiting this place has become a mixed bag. The food can be good, but it's not always guaranteed. The restaurant has changed hands frequently, and each owner tries something different. And that doesn't always work. But the good news is: coffee and a beachy vibe are always available in the summer.

Especially in summer, it's a lovely spot when the Strem flows down over the terraces.

A lovely spot. Take a seat on the bench by the jetty at sunrise or sunset and let your mind wander. It's quite something. From here you also have a beautiful view of Raven Island in the middle of the pond.

Besides the reservoir/bathing lake, you'll also find a restaurant with a terrace during the warmer months. It changes hands frequently (so the food quality varies), but coffee is always good :)
