There's no kiosk or anything similar nearby, so bring food and drink. It's also best to wear aqua shoes, due to the rocks and stones.

Beautiful spot on the river where you can lie on the stones of the riverbed and cool off in the shallow water. There are small pools of water all the time and there is also a small barbecue area nearby.

The Tauglgries is a largely intact wild river landscape along the Taugl with wide sand and gravel banks. It is designated as a Natura 2000 area to protect wild animals and plants. Along a hiking trail that leads to the oldest bridge in Salzburg, the so-called Römerbrücke or Teufelsbrücke, you can visit the nature reserve and learn interesting facts from numerous information boards. In the vicinity of the Roman bridge, numerous sun worshipers can be found on the large stone slabs, weather permitting.

Simply fantastic! From Bad Vigaun in the direction of the Römerbrücke you walk along the Taugl, mainly through the forest. Almost level path with birdsong and the sound of the river.
