The entrance to the path from the road down to the power station is a bit hidden, then a beautiful forest path follows. When crossing the access road to the REWE central warehouse you have to use the clear view down to the Traun - south of the road bridge and then under the motorway you can almost see the fish swimming in the clear water 😉

In glorious weather we started in Altmünster. The lunch break with a fish on the Traunfall, which tasted very good, we went back to Altmünster. We returned on the R 4 cycle path, which was unfortunately closed at the bridge small problems, since we came on a hiking trail and went almost to Gmunden until we came back on the tour. But that was the only shortcoming on the tour

The paper maker museum is a relic from the early days of the paper industry in Laakirchen. Today there are three corporations, but not in the valley, but above. The papermaking museum is beautifully situated in the valley, right on the water. It shows how paper was made and how it is made. Since there are no crowds, you can roam individually through the history of papermaking, make paper yourself and learn to understand the past and future
