A wonderful healthcare facility

The parish and pilgrimage church of Mariatrost is a Catholic church located on the Purberg. The baroque building with the former Pauline or Franciscan monastery Maria Trost is one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Styria.

At the level of the Schaftalberg you can always enjoy great views of Graz and its hilly surroundings!

This proud weather tower was built in 1987 as a replica of its predecessor from the 19th century. Its bell was rung when there was a threat of approaching storms. At this point you will also find toilets and a little further on a place to take a break with a great view.
