This is the air rescue base station. Mountain rescue helicopters and those commissioned by SHS Air Rescue (here, Helicopter 4 in Kaltenbach) take off from here.

One of the three remaining covered bridges in the Zillertal Valley. There used to be just over 10 of them.

Also in winter more than worth it! Beautiful with all the ice that forms around the waterfall! The road is slippery and somewhat more difficult to walk. Road is not suitable for strollers.

Visited the waterfall in winter. Beautiful view! However, some parts are steep and slippery so be careful. We thought it was worth it!
