A mountain inn over 100 years old, offering a contemporary take on regional cuisine. In summer, the terrace boasts a beautiful view of the Wiesental valley. Our highlight was the goose menu; the other dishes were also delicious! Like the Michelin Guide, we highly recommend a visit!

You should not miss the swan pond. Not because it's particularly beautiful, it's more of a fire extinguishing pond. But because a pair of swans is lovingly cared for and observed there. The swans weren't there when I visited, other waterfowl have just landed instead. mallards.

The Black Forest Association in Zell im Wiesental closed the Wiesental Alemannenweg in 1984 created on its 100th anniversary and renovated in 2022. The path leads you through a Natural beauty is a particularly rich spot in the Zeller Bergland and you can join in Poets known here in the valleys of the meadow and the small meadow live or lived and their feelings in our native language, the sonorous Alemannic, to express. Immerse yourself in our Zeller Bergland and in our Alemannic Language. You will find lyrical works of ours on a total of 21 quotation boards along the way poets. We wish you happy and enjoyable hiking hours. The "Adelsberger Schänzle" was part of a fortification system that was created in the 17th century and by Murg on the High Rhine to near Pforzheim. This so-called “front line” consisted of different defensive installations such as Schanzen (= “Schänzle”) or Verhau en, which were connected to one another. This should stop potential attackers. Indeed it came here but never to military conflicts. Today, since July 23, 2022, the Austrian flag has been flying here again and it is a wonderful place to take a break.
