From Dettingen, you can drive up to Priorberg via a few switchbacks. Once at the top, next to a tree, you'll find a stone plaque marking the start of the pilgrimage route. It would take a month to reach Santiago de Compostela by bicycle.

The bailiff's house with its round tower is Dettensee's architectural gem. Somewhat hidden behind the former "Hirsch" inn and the town hall, this beautiful Renaissance building sits within the stylishly designed castle courtyard. However, it is only the remaining part of what was once a much larger complex that encompassed the entire area of the present-day castle courtyard. The bailiff's house has a footprint of approximately 19 m × 10 m and a ridge height of approximately 15 m. The Flösserweg (Raftsmen's Trail) and the Flösserwasen (Raftsmen's Meadow) are the heart of Horb. Strolling paths and walks, from the old outdoor swimming pool to the small animal breeders' association, always along the Neckar River, invite visitors to take a walk and enjoy the many benches along the way.

The Neckar riverbank hiking trail leads directly past the mill between the Neckar River and the millrace. It is the last of a total of 17 water-powered mills in Horb. The Neckar's water power drove not only conventional mills, but also fulling mills, bark mills, oil mills, gypsum mills, grinding mills, and sawmills.

It is not merely a bridge, but also a symbol: The design concept incorporates a raft, playfully evoking the history of log rafting on the Neckar River. The footbridge is an important pedestrian route, connecting the train station/lower town with the banks of the Neckar and with recreational areas. The footbridge makes the Neckar riverbank accessible; the area is popular for strolling, sitting, enjoying the beer garden, and experiencing nature.
