Please note that from September 2025 the Siezenheimer Steg will be replaced by a new bridge (new bridge construction). Please take this into account when planning your tour and inform yourself about the current status beforehand.

Beautiful, simple and easy circular route. Mainly through forest. Along the Saalach and Salzach. There are parking spaces at the cemetery in Salzburghofen/Freilassing. From there it is an ideal starting point. You can change the routes as well.

Very nice beer garden! Kitchen with a very good price-performance ratio. Daily fresh roast pork with bread dumplings and meatballs with potato salad are recommended!
