Here, the Rhine Valley shows its best side: The viewpoint is high above the Rhine 🌊 and offers a fantastic panorama 🎨🖌. 🎨🖌It doesn't get much more romantic than this: Welcome to Bacharach, a picturesque town on the Rhine, known for its medieval architecture, its 🍇wine production, and its romantic atmosphere 🎨🖌. 🏰🛡⚔️Standing defiantly over the Rhine Valley, Stahleck Castle stands in Bacharach. The castle now houses a youth hostel 🛡. First mentioned in 1136 – destroyed in 1666 and 1689 – the castle was rebuilt in 1926 according to the original plans 🛡⚔️.
