🏕️ CVJM Hut near Wolfstein Forest hut with shelter and benches at an elevation of approximately 455m – ideal as a rest stop on the popular circular hike. Part of the "HüttenKulTour" and located near the Poggrechweiher. Tip: Great in light rain or for a relaxing snack stop between the Poggrechweiher and the Selberghütte. Perfect for recharging your batteries.

🏃‍♂️ Jumping pit – a small challenge at the edge of the forest A fun element on the adventure trail: The jumping pit invites you to compare your own jumping distance with various animal tracks. Who jumps further – human or wild animal? A great idea for children, school classes, and anyone who enjoys playing. Tip: Ideal as an active break in between – and even adults are often surprised by how short a deer's jump really is.

🔭 Panoramic view from Königsberg – expansive views for your head and camera From Königsberg, an impressive panoramic view opens up over the Lautertal Valley, Wolfstein, the Remigiusberg, and, on a clear day, deep into the Palatinate Heights. The view is far-reaching – and at the same time has a calming effect. One of the most impressive vantage points in the entire region. Tip: Be sure to have your camera or smartphone ready – a unique lighting atmosphere often arises here in the mornings and evenings.

Delicious food and reasonable prices

The local association hut is run by the Palatinate Forest Association and is open every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. all year round. In the hut you can fortify yourself with a snack, sausage and various soups and cakes. You can also get drinks here.

The Königsberg is 568 meters high. Its summit is forested, so you don't have a view from the top. It is still worth a visit, because there is a small summit cross, a hut and several picnic tables on the summit.
