The Konrad Adenauer Bridge in Ingolstadt is a four-lane road bridge over the Danube in the Mitte district. Like the Donausteg pedestrian bridge downstream, it connects the old town with Klenzepark. The girder bridge was opened in 1952 as the Danube Bridge and renamed the Konrad Adenauer Bridge in 1977. During the renovation carried out between 2001 and 2002, the entire superstructure of the bridge was replaced, among other things. Pedestrian and cycle path between Ingolstadt and the Ingolstadt Dam (north of the Danube). Caution in the deforested areas; the path has been filled with loose gravel, making these sections difficult to cycle through. At the dam, you currently have to use the pedestrian bridge, as the bridge on the Stauseestraße is still closed after the 2024 flood.
