이 급수탑은 1898년에 지어졌습니다. 물 저장고로 사용되었습니다. 지붕 돔과 지붕 꼭대기 장식이 없다면 등대라고 착각할 수도 있을 것입니다.

가톨릭 교구 교회, 1857년 병영 교회로 건축됨. 독특한 외관은 건축 시 울름 요새의 철거된 성벽 잔해가 사용되었기 때문입니다. 내부에서는 특히 제단 구역과 세례당(소박하지만 인상적임)이 볼 만합니다.

Neu-Ulm

The monastery garden in Oberelchingen was redesigned in 2006, modeled on medieval designs. Its paths form a cross. Following monastic tradition, various medicinal herbs for home remedies and vegetables for self-sufficiency are cultivated here. The monastery garden also includes an orchard and an insect hotel.

From the Neu-Ulm side of the Danube, you'll have a fantastic panoramic view of the city. The cathedral, with its once-tallest church spire in the world, rises prominently above the houses. The Butcher's Tower and the glass pyramid of the city library are also clearly visible.

The Glacis Park in Neu-Ulm was originally not a park, but part of the federal fortress. The raised glacis was situated at the level of the fortress wall and was deliberately left undeveloped so that no one could approach unseen. Little remains of its former military use. Today, it is a place for playing, strolling, and relaxing.

The whipping tower was once part of Weißenhorn's town fortifications. At the same time, it also served as a kind of prison, which is why it was also called the Thieves' Tower. The so-called whipping post was a triangular piece of wood on which prisoners sometimes had to sit for days in full view of the public.

The Upper Gate, Weißenhorn's landmark, is a remnant of the town's medieval fortifications. The four-sided gate tower was probably built around 1480; the outer gate and the round towers on the sides were added later. Today, the gate serves as a picturesque subject for photographs.
