A very beautiful viewpoint (to the south from the Sfäntis to the Central Swiss Alps; to the north from the Belvedere towards Lake Zurich). Good restaurant (please note the opening hours).

Beautiful spot with a view slightly above the Raten.

This small wayside chapel is also called Langeneggchappeli and is located on the path from Raten to Gottschalkenberg.

I come here very often because it's a bit further away than the large barbecue area at Schattwäldli. Up here you have peace and quiet and a better view of Rigi and Pilatus. There are two fire pits, two very large wooden tables with benches, plenty of firewood, two loungers, and a swing.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful barbecue areas on the Zugerberg. I've barbecued here many times. Plenty of wood, tables, benches, and a magnificent view of Rigi and Pilatus.

Depending on the time of year, it can be quite damp. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful area on the Zugerberg. Some of the trails aren't very well marked, so you need to check the map from time to time.
