Sometimes you want to stray from the path, but of course not in a nature reserve.

A very beautiful autumn hike. Partly through the forest and deserted. Unfortunately, part of it also runs along the road. (We took a shortcut!) :-) Sturdy shoes and surefootedness are required, even when crossing fields and supply roads. Our highlight was Gutshof Stober. We had a very good meal there!

Its distinctive features include the sturdy west tower with its spire, pointed-arch windows, and a wooden flat barrel vault. Inside, the pulpit altar, galleries, pews, box, and baptismal font have been preserved from the time of construction. The historic Lütkemüller organ from 1859 was restored in 2011. Commemorative plaques in the vestibule commemorate the Steckelsdorf Jewish farm and the patrons of Katte.

Mrs. Harke is the patron saint of the Havelland region, as passed down from Germanic times, and under her care, this Knorpelschänke is a particularly pleasant place to rest.
