The tavern is located right next to the town parking lot and on the hiking trail to Platanos or Kontakeika. Here, you have wonderful views of the Karlovassi coast and the food is excellent. Highly recommended for refreshment during or after your hike.

In this section you have great views of the coast towards Turkey, the Kerkis and the mountain villages around Lekka.

In the past, every village had its own washhouse where laundry was washed centrally. In the age of washing machines, these places have often been forgotten and only a few washhouses are still in good condition. At the lower edge of the Plateia, you can still admire a washhouse.

The village's plateia is right next to the church and is run by a kafenion, as is still common in many old mountain villages (e.g. Platanos).

The plane trees by the small chapel offer almost enough space for one person. The trunks of these old plane trees are often hollow and serve as dog houses. Here they are used to store chairs
