The Parikia Castle is a 13th-century Venetian castle in Parikia, the capital of the island of Paros. It was built on the foundations of an ancient acropolis. Today, only parts of the walls and one tower remain, some of the remains incorporated into newer buildings or partially submerged in the sea. It is a picturesque neighborhood of narrow streets that serves as an important historical monument and a viewpoint from which to enjoy the sea.

The name "Ekatontapylianis" means "Church of a Hundred Gates" – and according to legend, it really does have 100 doors and gates – only so far, only 99 have been found. As soon as the hundredth door is discovered, it is said, Constantinople will be Greek again.

Paralia Parikia is a picturesque beach near Parikia, just a 10-minute walk away. This beach is known for its natural beauty, characterized by its sandy bottom without stones or pebbles. The beach is lined with a variety of bars and cafes.
