The Žilina Reservoir has also become a popular recreational spot in Žilina. It is easily accessible by car or public transport. Visitor parking is located on the right side of the reservoir. Perć Akademików - a one-way trail on the northern side of Babia Góra is more often wet, icy or snowy than the approach from the south or east and west. Due to the fact that there are stone stairs and in several places rocks with chains, you need to be sensible and careful. The crossing itself is not technically difficult, but the whole trail can be tiring. The exposure is also rather moderate, so generally anyone who can climb a larger ladder or attic will manage.
