The Torre de Norfeu is a building in the municipality of Roses (Alt Empordà) protected as a cultural asset of local interest. Located within the small peninsula that forms the Cap de Norfeu, on top of the highest hill of all those that make up the orography of the area, with a great command over the sea. These are the remains of a watchtower located in these contours. Circular in plan, with a slightly sloping profile and a large diameter, the tower is built with stone of various sizes and some ashlars, without being worked, arranged in irregular rows and bound with lime mortar. It currently has an approximate height of about six meters and maintains the hemispherical vault that covered the ground floor. The interior walls still maintain remains of the hydraulic lime layer that coated them and the bottom was built with a fairly well-preserved tile pavement, since the floor was intended to be a rainwater collection cistern. In the center of the vault, the register through which the water was extracted and the first floor was reached is still preserved.[1] Currently, access to the interior of the tower is through a slightly raised chasm, which gives access to the space of the cistern. Large fragments of built walls and scattered rubble, from the demolition of the upper part, are scattered around the construction. Source: https://ca.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torre_de_Norfeu

Natural crevice called Avencs de la Febro, you need good shoes with heels and, if possible, a headlamp or flashlight. They are cracks 30 meters deep, 300 meters long and 8 meters wide that are just a step away from La Mussara. However, they are hidden by vegetation. Because yes, there are many stories of friends and acquaintances who have had to turn around because they have not been able to find their entrance. That's the fun! Hahaha Els Avencs de La Febró have offered shelter to all types of people. For example, they served as a hiding place for the smuggler Josep Ferrer i Grau and General Prim. Yes, I am talking about Juan Prim i Prats, who, apart from being originally from Reus, would come to occupy the position of President of the Government of Spain in 1869.

Avencs de la Febró is a popular hiking destination. It's a beautiful narrow canyon that the trail goes through. Definitely worth a visit, but watch your step if you're running. Maybe, slow down and take a photo or two.

12월 3, 2022, Cova del Tabac
With magnificent views of Camarasa and the Segre River, at this point we will find the Cova del Tabac, a monumental cave where we will find ancient cave paintings damaged by acts of vandalism. The cave was formed by karst phenomena, meaning that water infiltrated through the stone over millions of years. As a curiosity, we know that the name Cova del Tabac comes from the powder that centuries ago was extracted from it to mix with tobacco.

An incredible road with almost no cars. On one side you have cliffs and on the other stunning views. At the end of the road you will come to a monastery. Pay attention in the curves because, despite the fact that there are not many cars, when one passes there is not much space left on the road.

Old Benedictine sanctuary located in the municipality of San Feliu de Codinas, in the Catalan region of Vallés Oriental. The church was built in a cave, with its own stone serving as a roof. It is the largest troglodyte church in the country. It has a Romanesque portal formed by a semi-circular arch.

La Cova de s'Infern (Hell's Cave) is the name by which this natural passageway or tunnel is known (since it is open to the sea on two sides), which offers an impressive picture. They gave it this name due to the reddish color in which the water inside it turns with the first rays of the sun at dawn, simulating a "door to hell".

This balm is a unique place, perhaps the most unique in the valley and of all the Prades mountains. The cave in the form of a Romanesque apse, the fifty-meter waterfall and the small lake that forms in front make up an area of great uniqueness and beauty. The waterfall is only present during the rainy season, because the ravine originates above the Montllats and has a short route. For those with nimble legs, and in the dry season when the ravine is not wide, it is recommended to get there by going along the ravine that leads to the place from the source of the Llódriga; a course full of steps and a maze of stone blocks make for an interesting exercise; those who do not know how to climb better refrain. You go up there along a well-marked path that starts next to the source of the Llódriga. When you reach the Morral de la Devesa, from below the cliff you can see, opposite, the Pixera. Put on the telephoto lens and you'll get the best possible shot of the waterfall. The cave is at the bottom of the ravine, a little higher, and also has a very good perspective. If you want to see the cave with the water pouring down from above, make sure it has rained recently. If it doesn't leak, you'll like it too.

03/24/2022 The Sant Miquel del Fai site remains closed for works and will partially reopen to the public once the works on the car park and the conditioning of the external spaces are finished. In this sense, visitors are reminded that they cannot access it until the opening is made. The conditioning works began with the actions related to the natural environment to be able to guarantee the safety of all visitors. In this sense, sanitation and stabilization works were carried out on the cliff up to the waterfall of the Tenes river. The security of the facilities has been strengthened, with work to stabilize the slopes and renew the 1,500 meters of railings throughout the circuit, the lighting and the external wiring. The Diputació de Barcelona has owned the Sant Miquel del Fai complex since 2017, the year in which it acquired it with the intention of adapting it. It has been closed to the public since then, in order to carry out the necessary conditioning works and decide on its use plan and management as a space within the Natural Parks Network. The downpours and the COVID-19 pandemic have delayed the works. The complex of Sant Miquel del Fai is a Cultural Asset of National Interest and is included in the Plan of Areas of Natural Interest of the Cingles de Bertí, which is why the adaptation works have been fully adjusted to the conservation objectives patrimonial In December 2018, the Diputació de Barcelona also acquired the cartulary of the Benedictine monastery of Sant Miquel del Fai, a document from the 14th century of great historical importance.

For the real adventurers: you can visit a cave here on one of the left side roads somewhere in the middle on the way to the extreme point. However, you must be able to bridge a 2 m difference in height (bring an aid). The cave is beautiful! Don't forget the flashlight!
