The Moon Walk is a 3,500-foot long riverfront walk that stretches from Governor Nicholls Street Wharf upriver to the Aquarium of the Americas. There are great views of the Mississippi River and the river boats that are docked along the promenade.

The Audubon Aquarium is a large aquarium that originally opened in 1990 and is constantly voted as one of the best in the country. The aquarium has a wide range of exhibitions, including a Caribbean reef exhibit and an Amazon exhibit.

Whether you just look at the ships on the river or take part in a trip yourself, it is always nice and relaxing to be on the water
