Flat Top Hill looks out over Flat Top Community Park and West Richland. The trail to the top is actually just west of the park property and begins next to the post office. Flat Top Community Park is the town's flagship park and has many amenities. It features shelters, picnic tables, basketball courts, restrooms, and more.

Chamna Natural Preserve is a 276-acre property that features more than 11 miles of trails open to different user groups. There are informational signs along some of the paths explaining facts about the different flora and fauna that call the preserve home. There are lots of trails in the network, so you can create a loop of almost any distance.

The Sacagawea Heritage Trail is a 23-mile paved trail that passes through Pasco, Richland, and Kennewick. It follows the Columbia River, providing excellent views of the water. This particular stretch passes through Columbia Park, which features one of the trail's major trailheads.

The Spirit of America Trail is a popular crushed-gravel path in Kennewick, Washington, that travels down the middle of the Zintel Canyon Greenway. The path loops through the woods, but that section of trails is prone to becoming overgrown and is tight, thorny singletrack compared to this wider and smoother section of trail.

Jump Off Joe Road is really just a wide gravel road. Even though the road is all uphill one direction and all downhill the other, it's never super steep and is a great place to get out away from the noise. Cars use the road sometimes, so make sure you keep an eye on dogs and children.

Jump Off Joe is the 3rd tallest peak in Benton County and the tallest peak within a 27-mile radius. This means that you can get great views from the top, without having to climb a large amount. There are no trees on the mountain slope, which means you can get an unblocked view from almost any spot on the peak.

Best known for its bird-watching opportunities and views of the Yakima River, the trails on Bateman Island are popular amongst runners and hikers. The main trail on the property creates a loop around the island, passing through wetland and forest environments and offering views of the river from the shore.

The Sagebrush Trail meanders alongside the slopes of Badger Mountain, offering relatively easy terrain and stunning vistas of arid sagebrush throughout most seasons. This trail serves as a key connector to several others in the vicinity.
