Long Valley Farm Lake is a 35 acre lake in Carvers Creek State Park. There are several walking and running trails that run along the banks of the lake. There are also picnic areas, benches and a pavilion.

Long Valley Farm Lake is a small reservoir in Carvers Creek State Park just outside of Fayetteville, North Carolina. It's most popular for picnicking and hiking since it features a few hiking trails, picnic tables, and a large pavilion/shelter.

A 150-foot tall and 1 mile long rock formation, formerly known as Patterson's Rock. This is a crystalline rock, which means it is completely composed of crystalized minerals without any glassy matter.

The Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant has a single natural draft cooling tower that is 526 feet tall. This cooling tower uses water from Harris Lake. This is one of four nuclear power plants in North Carolina.

A 60-acre Longleaf Pine forest that is managed with regular prescribed burns by Harris Lake County Park. Longleaf Pine was once the dominate tree species in the area but the tree is only able to germinate through fire, so their numbers significantly declined through a combination of deforestation and a lack of access to natural fires.
