If you're just looking for a short trail run, the trails doing a loop around Broughton Hospital Reservoir and an out and back along Clear Creek are a great choice. You get different perspectives of the water as you jog around it, and you get to cross the creek where it flows down from the reservoir.

Nestled in a beautiful green surrounding, outdoor enthusiasts can find the Broughton Hospital Reservoir in the northwest of the South Mountain State Park. It is encircled by a nice hiking trail, that can be easily extended by adding the nearby Clear Creek Trail.

This spot on the trail is next to a really large boulder. It's only a few feet off the trail and easy to get to; it's obvious that some people hang out in this area sometimes.

Nice area in general. Waterfall is awesome in spring.

The base of the waterfall can be reached via a 1.4 mile (2.25 kilometer) long circular hiking trail. From an observation platform you have a beautiful view of the water cascading down more than 100 meters. This also offers a popular photo opportunity.
