Cabin Lake is a beautiful, small lake surrounded by trees. It is usually not a very busy spot, so it is a good place for a break to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Blue Ridge Lake is a small reservoir not far off the Chesley Creek Loop. Private and residential properties circle the water, but you still get a pretty good view from here.

There is a great view from the Hightop peak over Shenandoah National Park. The trail to get to the top is part of the Appalachian trail. It is moderately challenging, but it is definitely worth the effort for the view on top.

For those that want more adventurous riding, after this point the trails start to go through the forest, having some elevation gain, so be sure you are prepared for it because it can be more of a mountain biking route.
