This viewpoint is situated where the Prairie Trail meets the Observation Point Trail. Via the Observation Point Trail, it only takes a few minutes to reach the viewpoint and soak in the stunning views of the Wildcat Mountain State Park.

Even though the view from the Taylor Hollow Overlook is limited due to the dense forest (depending on the season), you can get some glimpses of the surrounding nature that are certainly worth it!

An easy trail takes you up to this viewpoint of the Mississippi River Valley. It is possible to go even a bit farther but you will be walking on a very thin spine of limestone. From this overlook we saw Tundra Swans, American White Pelicans and Bald Eagles soaring overhead.
