The Windy Creek Trail is considered an easy trail and flat trail. It is fully paved and runs through Hagedorn Park. At peak times, the trail can be busy, so make sure to be respectful of other users.

Sunset Park is a beautiful park on the banks of the Ohio River. There is a paved path that runs the length of the park and gives you a great view of the river the entire time. There is a picnic area but no restrooms or water.

The lake offers opportunities for swimming and picnicking. The recreation area nearby is a great family-friendly area area that includes a beach.

The trailhead for the German Ridge Trail is located just off Gerald Road, and there is also parking available there. The German Ridge Trail is a multi-use trail, so you may also see horse riders and mountain bikers out on the trail as well. The trail loops for approximately 24 miles, and goes all the way down to the German Ridge Recreation Area and German Ridge Lake.

The lake offers opportunity for swimming and picnicking. The recreation nearby is a great family friendly area that includes a beach.

Saddle Lake is less busy than other parts of Hoosier National Forest, and you can feel like you have it all to yourself. The area is a great place for a paddle or swim.

The Hemlock Cliffs are large rock shelters that have been naturally carved from the sandstone. The areas have been shown to have been used by Native Americans as early as 10,000 years ago. You may find seasonal waterfalls over the cliffs.
