The I-Site provides up to date information on weather, and track conditions. They have luggage storage for a small fee. And were allowed to leave our bikes there, while we were hiking in the National Park.

The Honeydew Track is a 1.6km circular walk. It starts at Kerr Bay Campsite and follows the shores of Lake Rotoiti with a short forest loop at the end. It is generally considered an easy route. This track is great for birdwatching, camping and hiking and you are unlikely to meet many other people while exploring. The track is open all year round and can be visited at any time. Dogs are not allowed on this track. Please note that pre-booking is required to stay at the campground.

Nice Campsite with Showers. To use the showers you need to get special coins from the DOC Office nearby.
