Lake Montbel, created in 1985, is a large artificial reservoir of 570 hectares. It offers a magnificent setting for various leisure activities: sailing, kayaking, fishing... Hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts appreciate its trails which wind around the lake, with splendid views.

Nestled in the hollow of the mountains and crossed by the Hers, Sainte-Colombe-sur-l’Hers is a charming little village. Not far from Lake Montbel, it is ideal for stopping off on the GR 7.
