바신 드 레알토르(Bassin De Réaltor) 주변의 쉬운 하이킹 코스는 인공 호수, 낮은 언덕, 지중해 관목 지대로 특징지어지는 풍경을 가로지릅니다. 70헥타르 규모의 저수지인 바신 드 레알토르는 해발 152~166미터에 이르는 아르부아 고원(Arbois plateau)의 완만한 고지대에 자리 잡고 있습니다. 주변 지역은 소나무와 녹색 참나무 숲이 혼합되어 있으며 광활한 가리그(garrigue)와 함께 다양한 자연 환경을 제공합니다. 이 지역은 철새들의 피난처 역할을 하고 다양한 수생 식물을 지탱하며 생태학적 가치를 인정받고 있습니다.

Description of the hike: follow the path from the parking lot to reach the source. The start is under a large metal portico bearing the inscription "Chemin de l'Infernet". The walk is part of the GR13. It is marked with red and yellow lines. A very simple little walk, no equipment necessary. Very few places for parking!

This reservoir was created during the construction of the Marseille canal in the 19th century to supply the city. It is a beautiful nature reserve in the heart of the hills of the Arbois plateau. The site is a very rich ornithological reserve, and you can observe many species such as coots, swans, cormorants and egrets.

Planted on the banks of the Réaltor basin, these bamboos create a tunnel through which you can speed along. In places, however, the vegetation allows you to glimpse the body of water.

A small, easily accessible natural setting, surrounded by pretty trails and pleasant tracks, both for walking and mountain biking or gravel bikes. The Réaltor basin offers a beautiful diversity in terms of bird life: coots, grebes, swans, cormorants, egrets... and more during migration periods. Note that the banks on the north-east side (Calas side) are open to the public, but the south-west part (TGV station side), belonging to the Société des Eaux de Marseille, is fenced and inaccessible.

The source of the Infernet seems to be a natural underground water source when it is in fact the result of an artificial watercourse, the Réaltor basin built in 1869. The source finally stops when it meets the pond of Bolmon.
