A magical attraction at any time of day

The towers stand at the southern end of the Charles Bridge, on the Lesser Town side, one of Prague's oldest districts. They consist of two parts – the older Lesser Town Bridge Tower (Malostranská mostecká věž) and the adjacent Jewish Tower (Židovská věž). Both are adorned with richly decorated Gothic elements.

The bell tower is the tallest tower of the cathedral and, with its Gothic spire, significantly shapes the Prague skyline. It serves as the bell tower from which the cathedral's large bells are rung. The portal is famous for its mosaic "The Last Judgment," one of the oldest and most important mosaics in Central Europe, created in the 14th century. It depicts the resurrection of the dead, the weighing of souls, and heavenly reward or damnation.

The Charles Bridge, spanning the Vltava River, offers an unobstructed view of Hradčany Hill, upon which Prague Castle sits. A particularly magical scene unfolds at sunrise, sunset, or dusk when the castle is illuminated.

Construction of the cathedral began in 1344 and was only completed in the 20th century – a building project that spanned almost 600 years. It is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Prague and was the coronation church of the Bohemian kings for centuries. Important figures are buried in the cathedral, including Bohemian kings, emperors, and saints such as Saint Wenceslas.

The Malá Strana district is characterized by impressive baroque buildings, palaces and churches, including the famous St. Nicholas Church with its imposing dome and frescoes.

The 13th-century Gothic church is one of the most impressive buildings of its kind. The interior is exceptionally opulent.

St. Vitus Cathedral is an absolute highlight in Prague, impressing visitors with its magnificent Gothic architecture. Even the first glimpse of the facade is breathtaking, and the special atmosphere inside is equally captivating. The colorful stained-glass windows, the intricate details, and the cathedral's immense height are simply mesmerizing.
