Bürg is an idyllic district of Winnenden in the Rems-Murr district, situated on a mountain spur (450 m). It is particularly known for its historical roots and panoramic views. Sights & Activities Bürg Castle (Altwinnenden Ruins): This spur castle was built in the first half of the 12th century. Today, the striking keep is the main remaining structure, though it was partially demolished in the 16th century. Bürg Panorama Trail: A popular hiking trail above the vineyards, offering spectacular views over the Rems Valley, especially rewarding during the fruit blossom season or at sunset.
