The only remaining synagogue in the city. Built in the late 19th century in the Moorish style according to the plans of architect Wilhelm Stiassny, the synagogue was home to approximately 30,000 Jews before the Holocaust. Up to 12,000 of them were murdered on Stanislav Bloody Sunday, October 12, 1941. During the Soviet occupation, the building served as a warehouse. After Ukraine's independence, it was returned to the Jewish community, which, however, is too small to use it fully. In 1943, several Ukrainian nationalists were murdered by the SS against a side wall of the synagogue. A memorial commemorates this event. However, there is no memorial to the city's Jewish population. This highlights the gaps in historical research in the region.

Quite a popular route, not difficult, well suited for taxpayers. Beautiful views of the entire Chornohirsky ridge, you can walk slowly and enjoy the view. There are many places to park along the route, but in the summer there may be a problem with water, some springs dry up.
